What To Do While In The Midst Of Procrastinating (Like We Need Help Anyway)

Today, I was supposed to post Organize Your World part 4. But guess what??

And don’t think I had a good excuse.

‘I’m thinking’ is just another way to say I haven’t done it yet and I don’t really want to so I’m making a bunch of excuses to avoid it.

So, yes, I avoided writing the post I had meant to write, and instead wrote about all the things I’ve been doing in the meantime you can do while being stubborn and procrastinating.

Have fun. I’ll be in a pit of despair.dividerflat

#OYW – Planner Tour & Organized Blogging Pt 1

Heyo, everybody!! It’s week number three of #OrganizeYourWorld! Honestly, I didn’t know until yesterday that I was going to be like Susanne Collins and split the last segment up into two parts. But here we are so yeah!

Bloggers (and writers) especially seem to have a hard time with procrastination. School, writing, work, chores… somehow, we continue to push them away until the last possible second. We may not intend to do it, but it always seems to happen. So how do you take back your time?

Weeeellll, part one is all about scheduling your time and posts by using a planner or bullet journal. Yes, folks, today I’ll be introducing you to my baby 2018 Erin Condren Planner. And I’m totally going to be a dork about organizing and planners again! WOHOO!

(actually me 24/7)

That is what you came here for, isn’t it?

#OrganizeYourWorld – Tech Organization

It’s post number two of #OrganizeYourWorld!!

So it appears the first post was a success, no matter how incredibly scatterbrained and rant-y it was! I was really happy to see your reactions; yay for organizing friends 😀

Unfortunately, some of you don’t use desks. And that made me upset, because I want everybody who reads to at least have the opportunity to organize through #OYW. It’s fun! It’s a group activity! (in a way…)

But this week is about something EVERYBODY uses. It’s what you’re using right now to read this. It’s…. technology!!

If you’re a writer, blogger, student, or human being living in 21st century America, it’s safe to say that you’re pretty familiar with technology. But it’s also safe to say that your documents, pictures, and apps are at least a little bit cluttered with everything going on in busy busy LIFE.

Because Life™ is just so considerate.

THANKFULLY you’ve got a girl on your team who’s so crazy about organizing, she made a mini guide for you! Soo… let’s get to it! *jazz hands*

#OrganizeYourWorld – DIY Desk Makeover (+ Desk Hacks!)

Welcome to the first post of my #OrganizeYourWorld series!

I got lots of support from last post’s comments about this series so that made me extra extra excited to get going on this organizing stuff! To be perfectly honest, I’m also a little nervous – it’s my first series and it’s on a very wide topic aaahhhhh! – but your support is super encouraging so thank you so much ❤

To kick off the 4-part series, we’re going to be addressing what I feel is a pretty big topic when it comes to organizing – workspaces. AKA your desk, AKA the thing you probably use 20+ hours a week. And, at least at first sight, this is a pretty overwhelming project.

A Bunch Of Awards (Am I Really This Popular??)

Hi guys. So I’m popular now.

Let me explain how this happened (and no I’m not actually popular and will never be, thank you very much).

I got nominated for awards…5 times???

I was tagged for the Liebster Award by four lovely ladies: Faye, EmSarah, and Olivia.

And then I got tagged AGAIN for this award I’ve never heard of, The New Blogger Award (which makes me extra special because I’m new) by Starling!

THANKS GUYS!! It’s always kind of crazy to get mentions like this from blogs you read all the time so you guys kinda made my day. (Or days. Yanno, I’m far too technical.)

How To Bingewatch Like A Pro Because Obviously I Am One

Fact about me: I like Ninjago.

And since this show isn’t on TV on any specific time or channel, watching it is a semi-big deal. I’m sure you guys know at least one show like this; it’s fantastic, but you can never find or watch it.

So, imagine my delight when I find SIX SEASONS OF NINJAGO ON AMAZON PRIME. And my further delight when I have NOTHING TO DO FOR A WHOLE WEEKEND.

But how do you bingewatch right? I mean, you can’t just sit on the couch and watch your favorite show/movie in the whole world. That’s unheard of in my book.

Since I’m OBVIOUSLY the master at everything related to fandoms, I’ve come up with a guide for you normal people to have the best movie night ever and be the coolest bingewatcher on the block.

6 Annoying Questions Every Homeschooler Is Asked

Hello, everybody, how are you doing? How’s your day been? How’s the weather?

Just kidding, yall can’t talk until the end of the post. 😦

So, Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the time when all those public schoolers get a day off of school. They run outside in the cold and play for hours, totally ignoring the poor, imprisoned homeschoolers who are watching from their desks. Lucky ducks.

Thinking about it was enlightening. No, they’re not very lucky. They’re not homeschooled. Just to explain what ‘homeschooling’ is takes soooo much energy. If you’re homeschooled, you probably know what I mean; sometimes, they ask the weirdest questions, and then you have to repeat your answer five times because homeschool lingo is too complicated somehow.

Therefore, here are six annoying questions you’re asked as a homeschooler by those ‘lucky’ public schoolers. I feel like I have a large homeschool and Co-Op audience, so here’s to you. *bows*

My 2018 Goals (That I’ll Probably Fail At But Will Try Anyway!!)

(I almost published this at 11pm not 11am whoops)

Is it just me, or does anyone else kind of miss the holiday season?

It always seems like, the day I get accustomed to all the Christmas décor and the smell of wintery candles no longer overwhelms me, it’s time to put the tree away and store all the boxes back into the attic.

It’s… kind of depressing?

But now that’s it’s 2018, it’s time to set some goals for this year! I’ve been thinking about this since November, since I’m a very goal-oriented person, and decided to be very unoriginal try and inspire you to get out a pen and make some of your own. So, let’s get to it!

When Words Fly

Hello, and welcome to the newest chapter in my story.

No, it can’t just be my story, can it? It’s yours too. It’s ours.

You are a character just like me. We’re in the same world and story, and we each drive it in our own way.

So let’s flip the page, turn to the next chapter, and watch when words fly.
